After being oh so pleased with myself for my hour of practise on friday, I woke up on saturday with a SORE left thumb. I don't think it hurt while I was playing, although I did feel a bit achey afterwards. It was seriously painful until about lunchtime today, but has subsided almost completely since.
I am thinking that I will leave it until tomorrow to try playing again and see how it feels. If bad, I will have to cancel my lesson on Thursday.
*sad face*

I found your blog because I love prog rock. Just seeing who else does. Take care.
ReplyDeleteHey, I found You're blog by accident as I was looking up some cello stuff. I started playing cello about a year and a half ago, and am in love and I think this blog is really cool as I feel everything you're saying. Btw, my cello is a boy as I think the low notes sound better than the high notes, should cellos be girls though? I don't know. ..
ReplyDeleteYeah, I always thought my cello would be a boy too, but i realised i had already started thinking of her as a 'her' and it was too late!
ReplyDeleteI definitely prefer the low notes to high notes too. My teacher also teaches double bass, and I would love to have a go on one!
